Adventure Plus<\/a><\/p>\r\n The first and probably most popular hack that I created.\u00a0 It was created in late 2002, and is what started me down the homebrew path.\u00a0 It was one of my favorites as a kid and modifying it was an incredible amount of fun.\u00a0 It also led me to create the Create Your Own Adventure application<\/a>, a Visual Basic 6\/Windows XP app that allows you to modify the game in many different ways, including new room layouts & graphics, new sprites, object placement, invisible rooms, etc.\u00a0 It was a pretty big hit at the time.\u00a0 I made some minor updates to the hack in 2005.\u00a0 Some graphics were changed and I made an all-invisible room version.\u00a0 This hack is for sale in the AtariAge store.<\/p>\r\n Trainer Hacks<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\r\n All of these hacks are trainers that will grant you unlimited lives and\/or time.<\/p>\r\n Atlantis Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited lives<\/p>\r\n Airlock Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited Time<\/p>\r\n Battlezone Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited lives, lives counter removed from the display, score font changed<\/p>\r\n Defender Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited lives<\/p>\r\n Frostbite Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited Lives, Polar Bear appears on level 1, Sky changed to Black, Temp increased to 55, faster speed<\/p>\r\n Jawbreaker Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited lives<\/p>\r\n Montezuma’s Revenge Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited lives<\/p>\r\n Pitfall Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited lives and unlimited time in Pitfall<\/p>\r\n Seaquest Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited lives<\/p>\r\n River Raid Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited lives and fuel, and collision detection is disabled<\/p>\r\n Solaris Trainer<\/a><\/p>\r\n Unlimited lives<\/p>\r\n Ultra-Fast “Sadistic” Hacks<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\r\n These hacks were changed to make the game much faster and thus much more difficult.<\/p>\r\n Berzerk Sadistic<\/a> (Unlimited lives, Lives Counter was removed, score font was changed)<\/p>\r\n Frostbite Sadistic<\/a> (Very fast speed, 3 lives, polar bear appears on level 1, sky changed to black)<\/p>\r\n Dragonfire Sadistic<\/a> (Fireballs are much faster)<\/p>\r\n Space Race Sadistic<\/a> (a hack of Freeway, much faster)<\/p>\r\n Graphics Hacks<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\r\n Defender Vector<\/a><\/p>\r\n The cityscape was changed to a mountain scene.<\/p>\r\n DragRace<\/a><\/p>\r\n The cars in Activision’s Dragster were changed to look like the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard.<\/p>\r\n Marauder II<\/a><\/p>\r\n I changed the maps to make them a little more complex, the original game is a little too easy. If you try it out, make sure to choose game variation #4<\/p>\r\n Indy 500 Alternate Tracks<\/a><\/p>\r\n This hack of Indy 500 changes the track layout for each track.<\/p>\r\n Functional Hacks<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\r\n These hacks were generally by making changes to a disassembly and re-compiling those changes, as opposed to simply changing graphics with a hex editor.<\/p>\r\n Donkey Kong Low Gravity<\/a><\/p>\r\n Dragonfire Easy | <\/a>Dragonfire Really Easy<\/a><\/p>\r\n In the easy hack, the Dragon in the castle can’t fire his fireballs high enough to hit you, so you can’t die when you’re inside the castle.\u00a0 In the Really easy hack, the player moves really fast, so most of the time you can enter the castle just by running left before anything is shot at you.<\/p>\r\n DragRace Auto-shift<\/a><\/p>\r\n This hack adds Thomas Jentzsch’s auto-shift code into my DragRace hack.\u00a0 It is buggy but playable, and I managed to score a world record 5.44 with the hack back when I created it.<\/p>\r\n Big Bucket Kaboom<\/a><\/p>\r\n Frostbite Fast<\/a><\/p>\r\n 8 Lives, Polar Bear appears on level 1, sky changed to black, starting temperature increased to 55, faster speed<\/p>\r\n River Raid Hacks<\/a><\/p>\r\n The link will take you to the AtariAge thread that includes many different River Raid hacks that I created.<\/p>\r\n Space Race<\/a><\/p>\r\n This is a hack of Activision’s Freeway, in an attempt to make it look like Space Race<\/p>\r\n SpyBob<\/a><\/p>\r\n This is a hack of Activision’s Kabobber.\u00a0 The colors and sprites were changed from the original.<\/p>\r\n Star Wars The Arcade Game Reversed Control Hack<\/a><\/p>\r\n In this hack I changed the controls so that up is up and down is down, rather than the standard flight control of up=down and down=up.<\/p>\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/maximusgames.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Screenshot_Adventure_Plus-300x198.png\")
